I hope you are ready for season 2 with yet another quappa-el girl in an urban environment - guess this is my thing hey? The original song is over 10 years old now but it\'s still one of my faves.Honestly didn\'t expect to take a long break from MMD but I ended up putting it down for a while to focus on life stuff. Felt bad because I left this project sitting half done but it was a bit overwhelming to come back to after forgetting how to do basic things. In hindsight I was probably a little too ambitious with what I planned as I definitely didn\'t (and still don\'t) have the skills required to execute it the way I envisioned. Too many mob dads to handle!!The thing that made me think of coming back was I coincidentally started learning about AI behavior trees (not related to LLM/generative AI) and since I make my videos in a game engine I thought I could put that knowledge to practice and drive the 200 background NPCs with it! Turned out okay I think but it\'s for sure not going to be as perfect as hand animating. I\'m so proud of them though - they know how to do three things: walk around aimlessly, cross the street when traffic has stopped, and how to stare at a half-naked dancing Ouverzia and react kinda accordingly.Something extra for this project: I got interested in the idea of experimenting with shorts so I might try new "gimmicks" in that format. Let me know if you think any of them would be worth using in a long video (s2 is my fav). I also like the idea of releasing shorts in-between my main videos especially if I\'ve spent too long working on the same project and want to mix things up.As always there\'s more variants on Youtube and MEGA with even more to come eventually. Will slowly keep pushing the boundary on YT to see how far I can go before the inevitable. In related news I\'ll be uploading 4K videos to MEGA starting now for those who really love pixels and have the storage space to spare.
